Arseblog has good stuff. Oh and i will be holding my breathe hoping our players come back healthy.

Didnt notice Beowolf is with Juventus. Excellent choice, he is clearly better than RVP.

The Juventus staff clearly agrees. They said,

quote:

He does fit our requirements for a striker, even if, due to the financial crisis, we were unable to buy the great players we tracked for a long time.

I hope this brings Bendtner's ego down a few notches.

You forgot the best part, the very next line after what you quoted.

quote:

We need humility, the desire to work, as we can and must improve."

I remember the story of him scoring off the charts in the confidence portion of a personality test, which left Pat Rice laughing.

My favorite Bendtner moment. LINK

Maybe some wishful thinking.

Why did Juventus sign Beowulf?

Well he can't impregnate any royalty in Italy.

Never good when there are articles asking why a team bought you. Hope he tricks Juve into buying him after the loan.

same here. the squad is pretty strong at the moment, though, his tactics are awful. would be nice to be able to call on steven fletcher though the forward position isn't much of a concern with players like mccormack and mackie coming into the fold. rhodes is an exciting young player as well. just not a huge fan of throwing kenny miller out there up top by himself without much service.

Has anyone else notice the camaraderie within squad this year. We seem to be playing for each other. I noticed a lot of high fives, pats on the back, and the like out on the pitch. It is especially evident with Giroud. When he misses there is always someone there trying to pick him up bar the time Gibbs yelled at him. It is great to see a team that wants to play hard for the shirt and each other. I will end it with one my favorite Wenger lines : "The team showed that they have good spirit".

With all the Scottish managers around hard to believe they can't find anyone with more tactical nous than Levein.

Couldn't agree more about Miller up top on his own. I know you like McCormack but he's nowhere near the level of Fletcher IMO. Is Mackie an out and out striker? I've mostly seen him play on the wing.

I'm kind of enjoying Cesc getting pissed about something that everyone predicted would happen actually happening.

He should be patient. Xavi can't play forever, and Iniesta is older as well. He will be the midfield anchor with Busquets for some years in his prime.
