Where do you think Nash ends up SFP?
I think about 0% chance of suns.

i really have no idea
i don't see him going to the knicks, not only b/c dantoni is gone, but b/c they pushed hard to get bird's rights for lin
i don't see the heat, b/c he doesn't fit at all
toronto could work. colangelo has been trying to make them the suns 2.0 and it's back to canada. they have a lot of scorers for him to pass to, and he'll be given free reign (and defense won't be expected)
if dallas strikes out on deron i can see him going back there to team with dirk for 2 years (and possibly dwight next year)

He is 38 years old.... how long do you think he plays for? 2 or 3 more? Not really sure how much his game can drop off. I mean, I feel like 10 apg is still reasonable for the guy for a while, depending on his teammates. He has already decreased his shooting, but 10-12 range seems like a pretty good range so then he is still giving you a double double.
I guess ball handling and turnovers are things to watch, along with defense.

he's got a couple years left. his game doesn't require any athleticism anymore, and he's limiting his shooting to efficient spots
he needs guys around him, though

He'll be in Toronto. They'll over pay him by a significant amount. I do think they will be a very competitive team with him in the fold. Playoff team. They'll be adding him, Ross, and Valunciaius, who everyone says would've been 2nd pick this year.

The Clippers are expected to offer Griffin a five-year extension that could be worth up to $95 million, with an opt-out clause after the fourth season.
The Clippers are expected to offer Paul a three-year extension worth $60 million. But Paul, who will make $17.7 million next season, is likely to turn down that offer. Instead, the point guard is likely to wait and decide whether to accept the Clippers' five-year, $110-million extension offer in July 2013.
-Both from the LA Times

Idk if I'd want to pay either of this guys $20 mill per. In fact, I'm pretty sure doing so would doom them to mediocrity.

I agree. I'm still thinking he's worth around 2-3 years at 10 or so mil a year.

He gonna Sign and Trade to Toronto.
Book it.

To that franchise, he'll be worth every penny.

Yep. Couldn't agree more. Plus Suns drated Marshall, which means they know Nash isn't coming back

Their drafting of Marshall isn't exactly indicative of the fact that they know Nash isn't coming back. Maybe they'd like to have Nash mentor Marshall for a year or two before they turn the keys over to him?

Blake Griffin is not worth 19 a mil a year this point IMO.

i think that's a financial decision more than a basketball decision

Insurance policy at least.

The Heat, according to sources, have made Allen their prime offseason target and will pursue him strongly when free agency opens Sunday at 12:01 a.m. ET.
They intend to offer him their $3 million mini-mid-level exception, a chance to win another title and significant playing time as they continue with the plan to play LeBron James as a power forward in the future. Heat players, including James and Dwyane Wade, have been publicly and privately recruiting Allen over the last month.
The team would prefer to swoop in and secure his services quickly for several reasons. The Heat cannot win a bidding war for Allen, so they're hoping the chance to play on a contender will make up for the below market value offer. Also they want to grab Allen before other suitors get their free-agent houses in order.
If I were Allen, winning another championship would be a bigger priority over a nice contract. But I'm obviously not Allen.
Hope he goes to South Beach though.

i honestly don't think he's going to give up that much money if he gets $3M/per from miami

I'll be surprised if he takes it.
But I'll be even more surprised if he takes a nice contract with a team like the Suns.
