Reports out there saying that Brandon Roy is going to attempt a comeback.
quote:
If Roy does return to full or capable health, it won't be with Portland, the team that drafted him. "I wish but do to the nba rules I cannot play in portland until 2014 2015.. I'm lookin to return sooner," he tweeted.
The Trail Blazers used the amnesty clause on Roy's contract, leading to his retirement. They went that route instead of removing his salary through medical retirement. Because of this, other teams would be able to claim Roy by bidding on a portion of his contract.

With a new coach and the addition of Odom Clippers could be a legit threat. Their shitty coaching is whats holding them back.

Eh.. with a healthy Billups, this team would've fared better in the playoffs this past season. They were starting to warm up and then he got hurt.
Add in Odom (if he's the pre-Dallas Odom, that is) and another year of chemistry between everyone, this team has a chance to win a championship.
I'd still put SA, OKC, and Dallas (with DWill) above them in the West, however.

The thing with nelson is he is looking for a longer contract.
Not a bad business move. He will take less money a year for more years.

also, with his contract expiring, he's going to possibly be dealt to a team he hates

rockets now actively shopping Scola, since they drafted White and T. Jones

I agree, he's not the same guy who won 6th Man of the Year.
Posted on 6/30/12 at 3:45 pm to sbr2
Thats because he is immature and emotional. He is back in la where he loves to play. I doubt he produces like he did 2 years ago but I guarantee he doubles last years production

Won't make a difference. Hes a restricted FA, and the Bulls have already made it clear that they'll match every offer to keep him.

-Dwight Howard requests trade to the Nets
-Trailblazers curse Hibbert's knee and offer him a max deal. Indy fricked

to the nets for farmar/petro, i'd imagine
supposedly the nets are going after scola for expiring contracts, and those seem to work

I imagine it is the same package they were going to use for Joe Johnson, which I never understood because of the quick rise of Marshon Brooks
