Why SaintsReport sucks

Now I remember why I never post there. Yesterday some guy started a thread called, "Going into panic mode" or some such. His message stated something to the effect of, "OMGZ! It's almost july and bree's haznt signed. anybody else thinking no deal getz done and bree's leaves? i'm loosing hope." The poster has been a member of Saints Report for 8 years.
So I responded with a one line comment that he didn't have an understanding how contract negotiations works and called him a quote "fan" of the NFL. No profanity, no personal attack or obnoxious trolling.
Ten minutes later I got a nastygram warning message from a moderator, who informed me that my behavior was rude and uncivil and will not be tolerated. My post was deleted I was told I was creating "unnecessary drama" and that this so-called "stern warning" was pretty much my last chance to get my shite together before going to banland.
WTF. Why are these people so sensitive? It's not like my comment was even questionable in terms of being nasty or abusive. Message boards are designed for these interchanges and I never thought south Lousiana Saints fans would want to live in such a sterile environment. I bet the SaintsReport mods and the folks over TideFans.com would get along great. Anyhow, I really appreciate ST and the freedom to argue points and have fun.

I've been cited for "thinly veiled profanity", "insulting other members", and "calling out the moderators". The last occurred because I had the audacity to question the policy of whacking posts with the word "arse" but having no problem with almost completely naked women as avatar and signature images--all while claiming to be a "family friendly" site.

They call themselves a "family website" and many of the guys avi's are half naked women.
Besides the format (which is horrid), the sites biggest flaw (imo) is the rep system, which turns people into pandering, condescending, sandy vagina's.
I got banned for a week once for making a comment about a literal black Christmas tree.
"First black people take our jazz and rap music, and now they're taking our Christmas trees? No, this will not stand."
They said it was a racist comment.
A don't you dare piss off a "VIP" member (like I did) cause you'll be banned forever, which is actually a good thing.
Oh, and there political board is a bunch of liberal douches.

I haven't gone on their political board, but I'm 100% positive that it's miles better than the cesspool of a political board that we have over here.

i got a warning for saying fap. I used to like it but then it was just too artificially nice, everyone trying to suck everyones dick. That fricking place can suck my nuts.

Maybe I'm bias because I'm libertarian, but no. The political board here does have a lot of nonsense going on, but the good posters are top notch.

Yep. I'll point out things from time to time, but I'm nowhere near as active as I used to be.

I think people are just trying to get their name noticed by the mods so they can get taken seriously when they report their fellow posters. And also they want dem green thumbs.
