Carey Mulligan would be excellent in my opinion. There is something nonthreatening and feminine about her that would make an excellent contrast to the "villainous" nature of the character. I wouldn't call her attractive though, looks too much like she could be your 12 year old kid sister.

Anyway, Jennifer Lawerance would be my first pick. As someone pointed out earlier, there isn't anything overtly attractive about her but she is a solid actress that could portray the character well.
