I'll say this...If either of these guys are the coaches than we had that "special" season JLS keeps talking about...and yes, we would keep this staff at least for a few years

Have any of you guys ever met PP or been around him in a social setting? I'm curious how his personality is in comparison to Bobby.

Nope. I'm not letting my gf anywhere near a Petrino. 
He seems more mellow than Bobby so he's likely to be more fun to be around. Thing about Bobby, guarded high instensity people like him... Once you get past the walls and guard blocking the gate, they're awesome people that treat you like platinum.
I don't know what I'm even typing anymore.

I met a guy in Montana a couple years ago at the ski lodge...Said he went to high school with Bobby and Paul. Said Bobby was like his momma and Paul was like his dad...That being said, I'm sure Paul is doing all the right things in the current scenario

No one fully expects PP to get this job full time, do you? Speculation is that Ark wants to go big in the off-season. They'll hire a name or an up-and-coming name. I don't see them hiring anyone without HC experience either.

No...He caught me off guard. I was cookin burgers at the restaraunt when he told me. Then I started burnin the damn things...Luckily the wife was handlin business in the front

So did he mean he just has a top target or a handshake agreement? It seems like it would be tough to agree to a job 10 months in advance because so many things could change in that timeframe.

He never bothered to learn anyone's name except for the one female on the crew, and he would always creep her out.
Paul is always asking how everyone is doing and just seems a lot cooler than Bobby. People were afraid they would get fired if they farted too loud around Bobby, not the case with Paul.

That's definitely good to hear. I just want a head coach that is more active on the recruiting trail. I'm not gonna lie, I would get a little pissed when I hear Saban is spending 3 hours on Skype with a recruit in May and then hear one of our recruits is just talking to Petrino for the first time ever on his OV in January.
