(Worst Rated Actress) Jennifer Love Hewitt - she's never been in a movie that received a Fresh rating.

(Highest Rated Director) Mike Leigh - Another Year, Happy-Go-Lucky, Vera Drake, All or Nothing, Topsy-Turvey, Secrets & Lies, Career Girls, Life is Sweet...rates a lifetime average of 92.1 percent. He's never had a movie rated below 80% approval.

(Highest Rated American Director) - Coen (with an average rating of 84.3%.)

(Worst Director) - Dennis Dugan - Problem Child(7 percent), Happy Gilmore(59 percent), Beverly Hills Ninja(14 percent), I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry(14 percent), You Don't Mess With the Zohan(36 percent), and Grown Ups(10 percent), all of which earn Dugan an average rating of 23.6 percent.

Tom Cruise has been in 4 movies that received a rating of 90% or better...and they're not what you'd normally think. His highest rated movie of all-time is Risky Business at 98% approval.

Interesting. I usually check RT, but I don't pick what I watch b/c of it really, rather to gauge my own judgement vs. movie snobs that get paid somehow

Chris Farley hated Beverly Hills Ninja and Almost Heroes. He thought studios were just using his name to make money and couldn't believe how bad Almost HEroes was after the premiere.

Saw this on his A & E bio.

I can't believe Zohan is rated so highly above Grown Ups. Grown Ups is Citizen Kane compared to Zohan.

I never make a decision on watching a movie based of reviews.

Half the time I completely disagree. Some movies are exceptions obviously

I'm he didn't hate the check he received. Maybe he could have reviewed the script while sober.

Well yeah. I joked at the time that he probably didn't even remember making Almost Heroes and that's why he was so disappointed when he saw it for the first time at the premiere.

I was thinking the same thing. That's the first movie that comes to mind when you mention JLH. Is that a "rotten" movie?

Unfortunately, yeah...only 44% positive. 59% of fans liked it though, so it's got that going for it.

In my top 5 all time favorite movies. I can recite it beginning to end

Witness Exhibit B: An eye patch I wore for a month after Mike beaned me with a raisin in home ec. My parents took me to a 3D film. I saw no third dimension.

I don't use RT, can someone explain the difference in these 2 things? If a user "likes" the movie, wouldn't that be a positive rating?

The main number is the critics' score, the second is the fans'.

Rotten Tomatoes contains links to 10's-100's of reviews for each movie and sums up how "Fresh" a movie is for Likes or Dislikes

For these movies, how is that even possible. Those movies were hilarious. IMO movie critics look WAY to deep into movies and forget that they are meant to be Entertaining.
