Anyone know where the kid from Zachary is going? 3rd team and in our back yard. Did we go after him?

Don't be fooled by his draft status, the catcher LSU got from Florida is legit, I'm told. There's good reason why LSU passed on the local catcher.
The kid from Florida evidently was not signable unless he was going to get first-round money.

Really good athlete. Gave up football to focus on baseball and it looks like it paid off. Hard worker, smart, great family, and has always been very disciplined. Batting average is impressive. His brother is Jacob Fisher, the catcher for SLU. You may remember him from when they played us at home this year. No.... LSU did not go after Jameson, but if they are looking to add a catcher he would be a good one.

I don't think that is correct....Alex Edward was 1st Team Louisville Slugger AA in 08 and 09.
