During the very first game the announcers were talking about the box they created and stated that Mett asked for it. It would help him remain focused. Strange, but if it helps.... go for it.

From what I understand he is a guy that played at Tulane for two years and blew his knee out. Tulane released him and he is trying out for the team. Knee did not seem to be a problem today. He is a currently a student at LSU. His name is Fury..... or something like that.

LSU did get 4 of the 2012 recruits on campus for summer school. Newman, Reynolds, Devall, and juco transfer.

25% or nothing seems to be what many have gotten. Baseball players pay to go to school at LSU. That tells you how much they love the game, the program, and what LSU is. I know a few freshmen that took their name out of the draft when they were called by advisors after the 10th round. 100K was not worth skipping the LSU Baseball experience to them. The advisors say that a 4 year college program is valued at 100K and especially when signed to a power program in the SEC.
Really good athlete. Gave up football to focus on baseball and it looks like it paid off. Hard worker, smart, great family, and has always been very disciplined. Batting average is impressive. His brother is Jacob Fisher, the catcher for SLU. You may remember him from when they played us at home this year. No.... LSU did not go after Jameson, but if they are looking to add a catcher he would be a good one.
In his last article he talked about the returning and new roster for next year and stated he was looking to pick up another catcher. I think your guy was included on the list already and then he may add one more catcher.
Any word on who the cathcher is that CPM is looking to pick up this year????
Hunter Devall/LHP: ERA 0.98 / 140 strikeouts in 71 innings pitched.
Devall completed JR/SR season with a combined 283 Ks/141 IP.
