Please repost. The idiots can cry if they want. I'd like to watch it.

The guys at 247 chose Bleacher Report to post some of their free videos. 247 is run by JC Shurburtt, Barton Simmons, Gerry Hamilton, Steve Wiltfong, Paul Strelow, Justin Hopkins & others who used to either work for Rivals or Scout.

The analysts on the video are 247 guys.

This is no different than real sports being shown on ESPN instead of Ausie Rules Football (which I loved).

Sonny Shipp & Shea Dixon have the LSU page for 247 so the LSU site is very legitimate.

I started to link a Free Montravius Adams video earlier but chickened out because I knew I get the BR treatment.

No one has ever been banned for posting BR.

It might take a while for the posts criticizing it to stop but I don't care.

Montravius Adams video

I know this as do most intelligent posters around here.

And...that's why Bleacher Report doesn't get much credibility. They can't even get player eligibility right. Although, that video overall wasn't bad. But the dude said we get Mettenberger back next year like it's a sure thing...

And then it shows our RBs and why we weren't recruiting one this year. They had Blue as a Sophomore...

But yea, the blog where random people just post is hilarious. This is not so bad, I was just joking with him about being banned.

No worries, jokes on me.

Just trying to pass some time in the off-season and keep football in the frame.

Also, I've been a regular TD visitor since 2006, and even during one or two ill-advised rants, I've been cautioned, but never banned. I want to keep my streak alive.

If you were an Alabama fan in Cali, or anywhere else, I'd want you to get banned.
Being a USC fan in Alabama can't be easy so we'll cut you some slack. You are welcome.

I just looked at rivals. USC has:
3 of rivals top 8
4 of the top 24
5 of top 41
6 of top 63
7 of top 78
8 in the top 100.

That is ridiculous. They will likely get a couple more five stars. I think they are allowed 18 with EE's and will likely get at least two more five stars. You gotta give props to the recruiting prowess of Kif, Orgeron, and staff.

I have never understood the appeal of wanting to play in Los Angeles and for USC? Their facilities are not on par with the rest of the country as well.

Seriously? It probably has something to do with SC having the most players drafted into the NFL, the most number 1 draft picks, the most players selected in the first round, and the most players in the NFL Hall of Fame. What's the appeal of playing in Auburn? Eugene (besides free Nike stuff)? Baton Rouge? Columbus? Tallahassee?

And once the new McKay Center is completed in a couple months, our facilities will be excellent.

You do realize that in just several months, the rest of the country won't be on par with SC's new facility?

Take the P & G shades off for just a few minutes. Are you kidding? Easily in the top 3 of most storied CFB programs. Beaches, gals, fine academics, weather. What's not to like?

Stands full of minority fans?

The location of the campus?

The overinflated egos of the fans due to dominating a conference of creampuffs traditionally? ... but hey, they win a lot

And as much as I hate to say it. USC has a cool mascot unlike the diatoms of alabama.

I have spent. Lot of time in Los Angeles this past year. It is a great city. Not for everyone, but i loved it there. I can't blame anyon of wanting to live there. I feel the same way about southern Louisiana. Very different, but has huge appeal in many ways that Los Angeles does not.

Per football, USC has been beating up on teams in a weak schedules for a long time. That's just how it is, so everyone just deal with it. They also are worthy of being in the hunt for a national title when their team is worthy. I believe it is this year.

I hope we meet on the field this year in the biggest kind of way.

As per the original question. We are filling our needs with elite players. USC is getting an impressive class together, but they still will fight the limitation of scholarships. That WILL have an effect.

No doubt about it. The NCAA, in hindsight, was powerless to make USC football irrelevant. USC wins that round, and it is a sweet victory indeed. I hope it galls the frick out of them.

But, if we are fortunate enough to get to a Championship Game and actually win the whole thing, it will be a minor miracle. Where the scholarship limitations really hurt is a team's ability to win with key personnel out due to injuries, and substitutions to keep key personnel fresh.
