Rizzo came on sports 980 about a month and a half ago and said he never directly came out and said that he would shut down Strasburg this season. Just to something to think about.

Also, I love the Nats DRAFTING aside from Strasburg and Harper. They are taking chances on studs with signability issues or those who have dropped due to an injury. If Giolito signs and heals that elbow of his... Hopefully Purke can get it together too. We'll see.

What Harper is doing is nothing short of phenomenal. I expect him to definitely have a few games worth talking about this year, but with him it seems like he rises to the competition, I can't remember anything like it in my lifetime, other than maybe Griffey Jr. I wonder if Harper will be the hero of millions of kids like Griffey was for my generation.

even if harper puts up gigantic numbers. His reputation to other fans is not favorable. Most people hate him since his previous antics made him seem like a douche

Yeah I understand that, that's why I said I wonder if he catches on with kids that are baseball fans around the country, when I was 10 I doubt I cared much about a players personality. He's 19 and a stud, every kid that plays organized baseball wants to be that when they are 10.
