I haven't paid much attention to LSU football since january. Didn't know what hype they had coming into the game. You would've thought 1/9 would have humbled some of the fan base a bit.
10-2 in the SEC West is a hell of a season. Especially when you are starting a new QB. Mett may be ridiculous and you guys roll to a 14-0 season....

So a team that returns almost all of its starters plus the best QB we've had since 2007 that went 13-0 playing the toughest schedule in the country last year is going to take a step back? The defense will be as strong if not stronger then last year. We replace Oregon and West Virginia with Washington and Idaho, we get bama at home at night, and our toughest road game is arguably at Arkansas. The rest of the west outside of bama and Arkansas is not that impressive, it's top heavy just like last year and the east is still a joke outside UGA. If mettenburger doesn't implode and we play how we're capable, anything less then Miami would be a disappointment.

If we had won the NC last year, I agree with you there might be some letdown and we would prob lose to a Bama or SC but....
The way we lost and the fallout that happened from that have this team (and this coach) PISSED OFF. The coach should be kicking his own self in the arse because the loss is on him, but all that being said, I think the revenge factor will be HUGE and this team will again play in the SECCG. We may do that with a loss but Bama will have a loss to us, so we would beat the tiebreaker.
NC is anyone's guess, I never bet on that, too many outside factors influence this, like media's love of all things USC.

funniest shite i've heard all week! LSU football fanbase don't know what humble means dude. These same fan's hate les miles and don't think he is a great coach dude.
