I'm right next to the Box and it's steadily raining right now. Doesn't look like it will let up anytime soon either.

If this game gets pushed to Monday, expect to see the Stony Brook game 1 starter at some point. He didn't look to have good stuff, but we didin't hit him.

Weather moving east-northeast

May be until 3 pm before we finally play?

radar has a large blob of rain between new orleans and it looks like new roads, and the other way from the gulf of mexico coast line to mississippi bama state boarder.

its moving north west it looks like maybe more north north west, so hopefully the rain will clear out of BR by 12 but the 6 hour future cast shows light rain developing once these bad thunderstorms role through.

ESPN wouldn't mind playing at 3, that was Arizona/St John spot, but Arizona has advanced to the College World Series, Florida St and Stanford play at 6. Have to wait until 10 to get better feeling of the movement of the weather.

I just hate that the weather has been a factor in the entire series!

It looks like 100% rain all day. Highly doubt they play today.

I hope at least they try to announce something early so i don't drive in and have to wait 8 hours (or no game at all!)

it may be a win/lose/LOSE! situation for me.

win: lsu plays and wins
lose: lsu plays and loses
LOSE!: lsu doesn't play and I'm already in BR with my wife so she'll want to shop all day!

Coon, I think they'll announce something here fairly soon. It's been steady rain for a while, and the radar shows it everywhere around, moving slow, and no real let up until later this afternoon.

With the field saturated already, I'm guessing they play it tomorrow.

Looks to be moving North EAST & there doesn't seem to be much behind it (IE S/SE Of Laffayette). I'm 2 miles from the box & the rain has all but stopped. Will know more in a few hours but things are looking good IMO

If there's a break in the weather they'll start the game and then not stop until lighting. It steady rained for 7/9 innings yesterday and they weren't close to stopping. They'll get it in today.
