Sounds like you need to sock Scott in the mouth.
He's still learning, but he did sink a 30 ft eagle putt the other day for us on the 18th to beat our two friends in a 2 on 2, so he made up for it.

Mine: the group of four or more that every single guy gets on the ground and scopes out their putt
The group that rolls up on the par three green behind you and talks and acts the arse while you are on the next tee box
Mr slice or mr hook that rolls up into your fairway to hit his wayward shot while you are standing on the tee box looking at him

Oh I have another...
Being behind a group of hacks who are 250+ out on par 5's that wait for the green to clear and hold everyone up.
Yea, they may hit it one out of a hundred, but chances are they aren't reaching the 150 marker.

1. People who walk in your line while putting
2. People who forget to rake the sand
3. Hacks that take no less than 10 practice swings and then proceed to top the ball or hit really fat
4. Idiots that make really huge divits on each of their 3 or 4 practice swings.

Some of the issues with my regular group:
1)We quit gambling because one guy never paid. It was always I'll get you later.......he was always the one that set the stakes before the round.
2) Different guy will hit a ball into the woods or dickweeds and try and play it out when there is no chance. Takes four swings, doesn't get out and proceeds to drop finish and pretend those 4 shots and drop don't count.
3)Also have a guy that will try and give a gimme to anyone inside 10 feet.
4)Also have a guy that went to that Golf School of America and now claims he is a "pro" so he can't play in "amateur" events (Scrambles) anymore. This guy is mid 80's at best.

That is a little much. I love my Saints and Mark Ingram, but I feel like that is him with Bama. A couple of mine are: 1.) People who wear jeans to play golf 2.) Guys who while you are waiting in the fairway and they are walking off the green and get to their cart stop and finish their conversation, light a cigarette, search through their bag, etc. (just get in your damn cart and get out the way and do what you need to do at the next tee box) 3.) Probably one of everybody's biggest pet peeves, people who go out and walk during the busiest, fastest pace times of the day, ie. twilight when everyone is trying to get a round in before the sun goes down and on weekends.
mine is no. 2 get off the green asap, mark your scorecard at the next tee box, shake hands with your partners away from 18 green and play ready golf - don't wait till it's your turn to hit for your practice swing (do that while your buddies are hitting) and if your slow keep up with the group in front of you or let the groups behind you play through.
And Geez don't ground your club in the sand trap.

I know this is a complaint subject, but good lord some of you are anal as hell. My pet peeve is my game, it's almost comical at this point

That's why I don't play golf - costs too much to have so much to bitch about.

This one's funny. I hate when people act like their tour players while stroking in the low 90s.

The all NIKE 4somes from bag to 20XI balls.
They usually have money on the game and take forever on each shot

I don't mind if dudes bring their woman to golf with them but if you are in front of someone then at least have the common courtesy to let them play ahead of you...

People who don't fix ball marks on the green
People who don't fill divots in the fairway
People who don't rake the bunkers after they exit them
Its a great game people. Leave the course like you found it or better.
Or GTGO

You have a problem with people reading their putt???
Some of these I agree with, but some of y'all are ridiculous. You complain about a dude waiting for someone on a green 250 out that he probably won't reach; but y'all also say if someone hits one up on you you'll hit it back or throw it in the water. He's probably had this happen so he waits.
You have a problem with bad players taking a few practice swings? He's not trying to top every shot, if anything the worse you are the more practice swings you need to feel comfortable.
My biggest pet peeve is the group that won't let you play through, even though the course is empty and you are 1 and they are 4; these groups are always playing for money

What I meant by this was that if he is one of those 1 and 100 players, he has no business waiting to try and hit a green he can't reach...he needs to lay up to a comfortable yardage and hit from there. I'd much rather wait on that approach shot than an unrealistic attempt to hit the green...
And if he is one of those people, it would serve his game better and probably lead to lower scores by using better course management...Win-Win for everyone.

This I agree with, mostly because it is stupid on his part to try. I honestly have no problem with people trying dumb shite that slows them down if the course is stacked up and everyone is waiting anyway, it's when it is open and a guy want to try a great shot, then hit a "provisional" every hole.
Hey Weave you should go to the rate your swing thread and tell me all the shite I'm doing wrong with my swing
