Since there was/is one for Waka, who'll be making the trek to Roo this year?

I wonder if Unchained: Van Halen tribute band is actually playing late night Saturday. I can see a surprise performance from someone else in that slot. Maybe Phish covering a Van Halen album or something along those lines. Why the hell would AC Entertainment schedule a tribute band in a top 30 spot?

I went two years ago. It was nice since we rented an RV. If you have not been, you need be warned. It will be hot and you will need to take plenty of supplies.

I wish...although I wasn't entirely stoked about the lineup so I'm not too bent out of shape. Hopefully I can make it next year. Y'all have fun

I'll be there with a group of about 12!
Making my first 'roo this year, will be flying a purple and gold American flag and a LSU rebel flag from our campsite, if any of you see it by chance stop by and say hey haha

Decided to forgo Roo this year. Been to the past 3, but I just couldn't justify the cost of it this year... Between planning and paying for a wedding and daily commuting to Hammond for school, I need to save the $$$.
... Also, last year didn't live up to my expectations for what I expect in a Bonnaroo experience. Too much responsibility for planning, organizing, and (especially) setting up and tearing down camp was placed squarely on me. Breaking that cycle by not going was semi-important to me. The SO and I will return either next year (right after our wedding), or the year after.
... However, we have decided to keep our group to a minimum from now on, and likely won't set up our usual mega camp in tent-only anymore.
You guys have a great time, and PLEASE eat an extra slice of Spicy Pie Pizza for me.

Making my first 'roo this year
A few words of wisdom from a Vet:
1. Bring twice as much water as you think you need, and less than half as much food. Trust me on this. You'll likely eat more of your meals in centeroo than anywhere else, and you can always get $1 grilled cheeses on shakedown. We usually only bring pop-tarts, jerky, and trail mix.
2. Don't leave ANYTHING even mildly important laying around at camp; It will get taken.
3. Camelbak... It is your best friend.
4. Dustmasks... Your other best friend.
5. Duct tape, zip ties, and a leatherman are nice to have.
6. Don't carry anything with you that is frowned upon by local law enforcement. They love pulling people over and searching cars.
7. Shade. You need it... Set up an EZ-Up, and put your tent on the west side of it if possible. Good for an extra hour of sleep... Also, leave the rain-fly off your tent unless it's going to rain.
8. Arrive with as full of a tank as possible, don't drain your battery, and don't shoot exhaust fumes into your neighbors tent.
9. Cruise through inforoo.com... HEAPS of valuable tips there.
10. Most important... Have fun.
ETA: almost forgot... Baby wipes. Plenty of them.

I have an extra ticket if anyone needs one. Just trying to get what I paid for it back. My friends got real jobs sooner than expected and now they can't go.

Young moonlight, saw your flags but nobody was there. I'm in the rv rental section with LA folks. Might stop by sometime this weekend and find the sports bar to catch a game.

<<<<< Next Year.
Too many Big Boy responsibilities this summer.
And I wonder if the earlier you arrive before the gate opens if the closer to centeroo your campsite will be?
can any veterans answer that?
