One of my clients is a Primerica agent. He's an LSU alumni in engineering but made the career change to investments and is OT rich now.
just wondering if this guy is a hustler or if that company is legit? Google gave me mixed signals

No, it is multi-level marketing.

You'll make tons of money.

All the dri fit polos, powerbands, hair gel, and arm shaving gear your heart could possibly desire

No he didn't. He knows nothing about investments.

I'm not getting involved. This guy is just really down to earth but after I found out what he did, it changed my opinion a little

Primerica isn't any more a pyramid scheme than Scientology is a predatory cult.

I has a buddy who just graduated that is neck deep in this Limu shite...I don't think it's a pyramid scheme, but when I told him that I was interested in something that sounded like it worked like the Pampered Chef, he wasn't too happy.

no, they sell term life ins and mutual funds.
They are no more a pyramid than anyother ins company.
I dont think many of you people understand what a pyramid scheme is.

Thread reminds me of:

quote:

Last time I checked my bankroll,
It was gettin' thin
Sometimes it seems like the bottom
Is the only place I've been
I chased a rainbow down a one-way street... dead end
And all my friends turned out to be insurance salesmen

Cult + Pyramid Scheme = Primerica

I almost needed an intervention in the late nineties to escape this group in Baton Rouge.

If he is indeed OT rich now and not just talking about it....

He accumulated those assets by screwing little old ladies and less than financially savvy individuals. He exhausted his relationships with friends and family. Everyone that trusted him has taken money out of their own pockets and padded his indirectly. And that's just the people that purchased his inferior products and services, let's not get into the gullible individuals that are now on his "team".

This thread delivers.

For some reason I have never been recruited to Primerica, but one of their rallies would be fun to attend for entertainment purposes.

It reminds me of old-time fun messing with boiler room cold callers. Ah, good times.

And yes. Water is wet and Primerica is a pyramid scheme. Best wishes to the few in this thread who have already been brainwashed.
