Anyone ever been? Was watching a tv show and they were catching monsters on huge topwater lures. Apparently they have the same aggressiveness as Largemouths and can get up to 3.5 feet in length.
Not me btw. I would love to have one of these on my wall

If I did it I'd go to Florida most likely

I had heard the population was severely downsized after a deep freeze several years ago.
Fishing in the Amazon would be such a badass trip.

Those look like a blast to catch. I hear Venezuela is one of the best Peacock destinations in the world.

Geauxt is gonna run you outta the hole if you don't quit fishing in there. Kidding, anyway, y'all I'm posting this from the Tower Hotel in London- actually looking at the tower bridge right now. Never thought i'd see so many pussified metro SOB's in my life but I've seen some awesome stuff today. Went to the Beretta Gallery today and looked at some 300k guns (downshift and wick would shite), Farlow's, and William Evans. No PIIHB women, but once I get home I'll post some great pics.
ETA: might be headed to France in the next few days and go out to Normandy (Calais is where they do the majority of their version of "waterfowling").

I used to catch them in Gatun Lake on the Atlantic side of the Panama Canal when I was a kid. You could practically catch them with a piece of straw on a hook, they will bite anything.

We have two mounted at the house; dad's 19# and mom's 21#. Both were caught in the amazon. They went with my grandparents for a week a few years back. They said the amazon is the most terrifying place they've ever been to (and they've seen it all).
