Yeah although LSU is obviously on a whole different level that ULL, that whole "your kid couldn't get in" thing is BS.

FYI, someone did this at the BCSNG party we had. He's a tool, and I let him know that several times as I got progressively more intoxicated throughout the night.

So you're saying you don't know anyone that hates LSU because they didn't get in? I know at least four. Probably eight that won't admit it. They just say I didn't even want to go there, I just wanted to party in Laffy. Okay.

ULL fans are the most whiney bitches in this state and maybe even the country. I was not rooting for them in their bitch arse bowl game.

Haters gonna hate.
Losers gonna lose.
If you were a kid going to college,
there's only one school to choose.... LSU.

Literally not one. Most of the people I grew up with who went here did so because their parents did. They don't hate LSU anyhow, so it's kind of a moot point.

It's similar to BR kids that attend OM because they couldn't get into LSU. Just a different crowd.

So you're basically a mirror image of the douchebag in the Alabama t-shirt. Congrats douchebag.

They are having a rough go of it lately with the Conference USA thing. Just shake your head and walk away.

Have a link to this thread? I'd love to read their meltdown.

Maybe I'm just speaking out because of my crazy passion for LSU sports, but I don't see why someone would choose another school unless they offer a major LSU doesn't or they would be homesick.

I pulled for them in the bowl game. But you want to talk about the biggest group of no show bandwagon fair weather fans? The Cajun fanbase. Did they sell out their season tickets this year? Seriously doubt it.

You deffinately see a lot more Bama stuff in Lafayette now that you mention it. I was at a bar Thursday night and saw 2 different people wearing Bama attire, not to mention all the liscense plates and decals on people's cars now. I doubt it's all USL fans trying to spite LSU fans though.

I followed my gf/current wife here. Some of em just came here because that's where the majority of their friends were going. A lot because their parents were USL grads.

No but it's pathetic individuals that are basically bandwagoners for whoever is winning. When Saban was at LSU, those same people were wearing LSU gear. During the 90's, it was Florida gear. In the 80's, it was Michigan/Notre Dame gear.

Many of these same people are still wearing LSU gear, aren't they?

For many it is just simply a money thing. I'm from New Iberia and had a lot of friends who went to USL (at the time) because they could live at home and just commute. It happens all over Acadiana. Almost all of them were huge LSU fans BTW. The hardcore ULL fan base in Lafayette is really not that big. Far more LSU fans in Lafayette.......

This times a billion, I fricking hate people like that.
I really don't mind people that are UNC/Steelers fans because they watched them growing up a lot on TV; at least they have a reason.
What I hate is someone that becomes a HUGE fan of a team once they are winning.
I like Lebron and joke that I am a Heat fan, but in truth I want them to win, but I don't care about their franchise, I am not a fan of the team
I have no problem with someone liking a winning team bc they are winning, but don't act like you are some die hard fan of theirs
