It would be a bit much to tell every person wearing a LSU hat "Geaux Tigers"... I also blame the crime

nothing out of the ordinary here

I was in NC last week

this would be considered "out of the ordinary" and worthy of the extra effort to say Hey.

really surprised you didn't already know that.

Because its normal to see LSU fans in BR, but not in North Carolina. You couldn't figure this one out yourself?

I was in Grand Central Station a few weeks ago, saw a regular Joe with LSU shirt, he was on vacation it seemed. I was not wearing LSU stuff but I gave him a Geaux Tigers and he looked at me like an alien and gave a a quiet Geaux tigers.

Do you think students go around saying Geaux Tigers to each other all the time? When your on the home turf that isn't something to bond over on random days.

When you in the middle of NC you probably get excited to see a fellow Tiger

When I'm on O'Neal lane I can't wait to get anywhere else in the city. It's a mess over there.

I live in Greenville South Carolina and when I see a LSU Tiger fan I will make a point to say Geaux Tigers, It's nice to see someone from my home state so far from home. A lot of times I will chat with them just to find out where they're from and what brings them to SC. If you were to chat with everyone in Louisiana wearing an LSU hat or shirt.....well you get the point. You can take me out of Louisiana but you can't take the Louisiana out of me

GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!!

Uh...
His thinking is 100% correct.
When you meet Tiger fans far from home you sense a common bond with them while in a land of strangers..

The thinking here is correct. Good thread.

Sorry many people on this board are assholes (they are probably from BR too)

This is pretty self explanatory. It's kind of like a few years ago when the family was in Destin, we met a guy who was originally from Natchitoches. Obviously it was out of the norm so we talked it up.

If you lived here and had to fight the morons in this traffic every day, you'd be kind of grumpy too.

I live in Austin now and get the Geaux Tigers whenever I wear the Purple and Gold which is always.
