Based up cast and story. Do you think this will surpass IG?

Anybody get a Bill the Butcher sense out of that first pick? Not saying the character will be as good and not saying Leo will be as good (of course not).
Just saying.....It seems like this might be Tarantino's most ambitious film...

I'm super pumped for this film, and those two screen caps just made me more anxious.

Yeah buddy.
Is that Jaime Foxx?

Yep. I hear we're too expect a "Collateral" type performance from Jamie. Which should be good.
Waltz looks badass as usual.

Surpass it in terms of what?
I love Inglourious Basterds, it was the best movie of the year. I'm super pumped for Django, but I'm a self professed QT lover.

My student booked 15 days and an LSU dude got 30 days. Said the script doesn't quite match the genre, but I'm interested in seeing it and them.

Django will be better than Basterds.
Leo. That is all.

Yea. It could come down to....Will Leo give a better performance than Brad Pitt.

This right here. Django will blow Basterds out of the water.

So it's going to sweep the Oscars, and go down as the movie of the decade?

Ehhhh, its possible. I've read both scripts, and I think IB is the stronger script, but DU is also a wonderfully written script as well and is going to be great.

It's a western. That in itself gives it an edge already in my book, and I really like IB. And the DiCaprio thing. :mancrush:

IF it does, Django Unchained will be an unfricking believable great movie. I loved Inglorious Basterds. And yes, I'm a huge QT fan.
