Trailer repair Houma area

Looking to get an axel replaced on a boat trailer. Its an older model trailer so I don't want spend as little as possible. Any suggestions?

Find the axle you need, if you dont already have it, and replace it yourself. That isnt hard to do at all.

One good floor jack, some jack stands, lots of kroil for the bolts. I've replaced them before the hardest part is loosening rusty bolts.

I have had some axles made for me from a guy in Larose. Solid axel with new hubs. Just blocked up the trailer and brought him the axel and he took care of it. Took a day or two.
