No it doesn't but its not a coincidence that most all five digit posters get it.

Here are some stats for you:

Number of days from when you joined until today: 2633 days

Number of posts during that time: 49,101 posts

Simple math tells me you have WAY TOO MUCH TIME on your hand if you have found time to post on average 18.65 times per day over the last 7 years.

Get a fricking life!

like a pharmaceutical type life that prohibits me sharing my cognitive thoughts with the people of this world that I share common interests with? No thanks. I'll stay my course of action. You do you.

If you have to come to tigerdroppings to do so...man I feel sorry for you.

And if sharing your "cognitive thoughts" include commenting on everyone's post count and using it as a marker for what people are bringing to this board, then that says enough about how cognitive your thoughts really are.

Best of luck!

I don't understand how having a higher post count on TD makes you any smarter at distinguishing a simple probability and odds concept. But congrats on the size of your e-peen anyways.

I didn't distort anything. You said we had "x%" chance of NOT getting the first pick and I simply showed you that everyone else's chance of not getting the first pick was greater, which by comparison gives us the best odds if we have the worst record.

Another example. Out of 49,112 posts you have a greater chance of actually sounding like an idiot than not. ;)

And? I didn't realize the end all be all of probability and odds started here at TD, as if before people join the site, they are incapable of independent thought, ideas or even doing simple math.

Only way post count is valid in this argument is if there is an inside joke from long ago that I'm obviously not privvy to. Otherwise, your math is wrong.

If this is true, then logic says tenured posters do not undertsand statistics or simple mathematics.

Sorry, I have to step in, stop the fight and give a couple of you a standing 8 count. You're allowing Chad to frick with you big time.

The youngsters may call it trolling if I'm not mistaken.

If so, I'm good with it. He gets the satisfaction of feeling better about himself on the internet and I get the satisfaction of knowing I'm right. We all win
