Seems like its an accident. I'm trying to find the beta client to see if I can log in. Apparently, they are letting anyone log in.

D3 beta was really short and not very revealing as far as new skills and how you build your character in D3 when I played it (~3 months ago). All it was good for to me was a glimpse at the story. So you're not missing out too much if you don't play it. That being said, I'm super pumped for retail D3 in May!

I think the poster was referring to the amount of content in the beta game not the length of time it has been out.

Ah ok. I don't really blame them. Seems like they are just using the beta to fine tune the major systems. If they gave you the whole game, there would be a shite ton of people that play the whole story and then don't buy the game.

It seems like I've played every character through the beta for the last 5 patches. I'm so damn ready to get passed the Skeleton King.

I'm torn on that, I'd love to play the beta but at the same time I want to be surprised.

I got to play this weekend. It was pretty awesome.. leveled a barbarian to the cap and leveled a wizard. Played with some work buds and the Witchdorctor was most awesome. throw pots that break and spiders come out and kill zombies. Open mouth and breath out bats that are on fire and set enemy a flame. also, green poisonous frogs.
