Don't you read the liverpool season long thread, henderson? Suarez is innocent and has never spoken ill of another player.

Serbs don't play! Dirty stupid move from Ivanovic, no doubt.

I know. Last week Skrtel proved that with his gang tackle to help Andy score the winner.

EDIT: Ok so technically he's a Slovak. But that's like the same thing right?

If you're stupid enough to truly believe that I'm being serious, you need to worry less about the sport and more about being checked by your physician.

Judas' team only 5 points above relegation.

It would be kind of disappointing to see Villarreal relegated. Tiny market club that from what I've heard has very well respected ownership.

They really quite a run to finish in the top 3-5 the past couple of years playing some of the most exciting attacking football of any club in Europe.

However, they had to sell Santi Cazorla to Malaga and Capdevilla bailed as well this summer.
Rossi and Nilmar both having injury troubles killed them.

Relegation would hurt the club much more than Rossi. He'll probably have to be sold regardless. I believe he actually signed a pretty long term contract with them so they could make more money on his sale out of respect for the owners but relegation means they probably have to sell him even for pennies.

When I think about it, I'd guess it will need to be a loan deal so that Villarreal could profit if he returns in pretty good form. I know from rumors regarding Roma that Rossi seems pretty loyal to the Villarreal ownership in terms of not wanting to leave without them getting a payout.

Im betting Villarreal are wishing they cashed in last summer, after the season he had...

I don't think he'll be ready before the January window... I think Juve were eyeing him up too...

Yeah, not sure how much Cazorla had to be sold instead of Rossi but it's an huge blow in retrospect. Maybe Cazorla's contract was coming up. I know they wanted to keep 2 of their best 3 attacking players but Rossi and Nilmar both got hurt when both together may have brought them 40+ Million Euro. Maybe Valerio was hurt some as well. Think he missed their CL matches at least.

I think Juve has been the odds on favorites. Roma was mentioned recently as Rossi said he'd be interested in playing for Enrique but not sure how much the club was really interested in what would've been a pretty steep price at that point.

Note: not just Rossi, but Cazorla as well seemed really loyal to Villarreal.

I just had ACL surgery 10 days ago. It has been quite a miserable experience so far.

Oh yeah, I am sure Rossi is incredibly loyal to his superiors at Villarreal.

Some of the rhetoric in the pro-America threads gets pretty ridiculous. I didn't appreciate the way Rossi celebrated his goal against us many years ago, but I don't wish ill upon him. That, for me, is wasted energy which could be spent on something more positive.

You and your rational thoughts... shame!

Settle down Francis, and learn a little humor.

The above is directed at anyone who says "we're being mean, etc"

Loyalty --as stated repeatedly above mind you--in the sense that Rossi signed a longer contract with Villarreal to make sure the club could make a nice profit off his sale when there was no other real motive to do so stating how much he appreciated the club's management. What's not clear about that?

And your research to the contrary regarding Rossi's contract status with Villarreal consists of 'you just don't like him'?
