Anyone else kinda surprised how much they are condensing events?
One example in the first show was they did the prologue chapter, and 3 POV chapters scattered throughout the book all in one scene.

Not really surprised, tons more happens in this book than in the first, so they would have to do major condensing to fit it all into ten episodes.

If any series of books are capable of doing that, it's these IMO. You can cut out quite a bit (i.e. Martin's two paragraph descriptions of food) in the translation and mix it up a bit because of the POVs.

Think episode 3 will be available in the next day or so?

This simply wont be possible for the 3rd novel, a Storm of Swords. It is just entirely too long and has far too many monumental events to even think of condensing it into one season unless it is a 16 episode season or something.

If this season is a huge success maybe they will do something like that.

They've already said they will be splitting book 3 into 2 seasons, with the third season ending on a particularly vicious stopping point.

HAHA, heard about it, but haven't seen it yet Glass. Was out with the family. Got it going on DVR right now still in the first half.
And this second season will for sure be a big success, but honestly they will have to break it up. Seeing the success hopefully HBO gives them more funds and more free reign to extend the series length.
