To become LSU's next HC how much will will it cost he is currently making 1.7 mill.
LINK
I think if we offer him 2.4 he he takes the job. That would make him the 3rd highest paid coach in the SEC

You have to take into account that Baylor will do everything they can to match LSU's offer. They're not going to just let him walk without offering a substantial raise.

He gets paid a lot, he has an awesome setup that he's built for himself, their campus is beyond gorgeous, and there are a lot of hot girls.

I know I've posted this a few times, but people don't realize how true it is.

I wouldn't even think about leaving.

Any pics for proof to back up this claim?

Waco is a craphole. Lsu in whole is a better program. Lsu is his dream job. He won't have to compete with anyone for in-state recruits. Lsu is his dream job. He can bring his recruiting class with him. He'll have LSU in the top 25 instantly.

This. You pretty much touched on everything. He built that program to the point its at now (top 10 team, tournament contender). Baylor has deep pockets and can match or top any offer we might put up.

Why would he go from a top 10-15 team that he's assembled to a mess in Baton Rouge?

Waco is a craphole, outside of the campus. I don't see the big deal about that, though. Baton Rouge isn't anything special, although it is better than Waco.

Exactly what BB03 said. Additionally, very key things is job searches work in Baylor's favor. Because of the success he's achieved and where he's brought them from, his job is extremely secure for a very long time (unless recruiting sanctions force him out). Plus like Lsuhoohoo said, Baylor will essentially pay him what he wants to stay there.

People keep saying that he'll have his choice of recruits in Louisiana at LSU, which is true, but isn't much of a difference compared to what he can already do at Baylor. He's getting a solid number of Texas' top recruits, and ties in Louisiana and North Carolina. The talent he's accumulated there has him poised for a Final Four run to follow up the Elite Eight run even after losing Acy and a high draft pick in Jones. Long story short, recruiting at LSU isn't going to be our best advantage to sell him on. As BB03 said, LSU needs to basically be his dream job for him to come here.

If Drew comes, he brings Gathers with him. Combine that with Malik Morgan & one or two more solid recruits. That is certainly not a mess. More like a tournament team.

If it is, I'd love to have him. Although, as a fan of Baylor basketball, I'd love to see him stay there and keep that program where he has it.

The real question: Do the lightning neon jerseys follow him to LSU if he comes.

And to that, I say.... Please God yes.

Other than the current state of the basketball program, Baylor is not a very attractive place. Average academics, weird people, waco(which is the second worst city in Texas next to Lubbock), and stiff recruiting competition in Texas
