Austin Rivers is leaving Duke after just one season.
The 6-foot-3 freshman will sign with an agent and forgo his remaining eligibly, multiple sources told CBSSports.com.

I don't think Duke fans will miss his ball hogging skills.

How does Duke's recruiting class look? Are they going to be down next year?

state will probably have the best roster, don't lose much and have a good class coming in.

I think Duke will be better without him. He was good, but he was not near as good as Kyrie Irving was.

When you're Duke, every one is replaceable

..they have another top shooting guard in Rasheed Sulaimon coming in, along with Murphy and the other Plumlee that redshirted this season

I wonder if his traveling will get worse in the NBA.

1 Rivals 4 star SG as far as I can tell

I think they redshirted a couple kids from this past class, including yet another Plumlee big man. if they can keep the one that might turn early and some of their young guys grow up, they might be ok.
if not, K will cry again next March.

I was trying to think of a traveling joke but couldn't come up with one
ETA: you know they don't call traveling in the NBA!

damn, was he that bad? at least we should get more shots in the crowd of Steph Curry's mom and not Doc Rivers.

Not that bad, but definitely not as good as advertised. Shot a mediocre percentage, scored 15 ppg, wasn't really a great distributor nor defender, nor shooter and traveled every time he drove. I wouldn't want him on my team IMO.

I believe he will be an above-average NBA player but real excited he is leaving duke. He ruined tradition.

Austin needs to support Doc since Tom Thibodeau was really the architect behind Celtics success
