Your expectation. I haven't see one in a while that I was truly satisfied leaving the theater. Im not a movie snob or anything i just havent been "Wow!"'ed in a long time. I'm going to see 21 jump street tonight and hope for the best. What was the last movie you saw you were satisfied with?

Didn't see it in a theater, but Avatar blew me away. I was skeptical at first but the visuals were incredible.

Gotta go way back for this: Rise of the Planet of the Apes

The sad thing is I think the last movies I've seen that exceeded my expectations were last summer flicks, i.e. X Men First Class, Deathly Hallows II, etc. The rest since then have been kind of mediocre or predictable.
I'm hoping Hunger Games is as awesome as it looks. I read the first book last summer and it was a good beach read when I was in Destin. Sadly I haven't had time to read Catching Fire or Mockingjay because of school, but that is gonna change soon .

The Watchmen
I don't really care for comic/graphic novel movies...thought it would be superhero silly...it wasn't...extremely well made with an adult sensibility. I was impressed.
Sin City too...but not as much.

Guess Mission Impossible 4. The action was just spectacular and suspenseful. Granted that was the last time I was in a theater because only 8 American films were allowed in China per year before this year, which has fortunately been upgraded to 20.
But really a lot of films regularly surpass my expectations... and a lot disappoint my expectations. Honestly its rare that a film meets my expectations.

The Town.
But the movie was terrible.

I'll take "X-Men First Class" for 300 Alex, granted I had pretty low expectations.
