We may have to send Tom Hagen in to negotiate.

Contracts don't mean anything. Also he'd be a moron to stay at VCU.

LSU will just meander in mediocrity for the next few years while we as fans wait for the coach to come along, recruit, and turn LSU around as a national basketball school.

Why would he come to LSU when he has other great offers? So he can be criticized by fans like yourself after every game? So he can coach a home game in front of 1,000 fans? Doesn't sound like anywhere an elite coach would go? Maybe if everyone could be a little more supportive then this would be a better place for basketball

Maybe if the current coach knew how to coach the offensive side of the ball people would be a little more supportive, or if he had more personality than that of a wet paper bag. To recruit you actually have to show some enthuasiasm.

In that case there should be no excuses for the fans if they do not show satisfactory attendance for the next coach.

Well to be fair they went from a coach who alienated most fans with his arrogant attitude, to a guy with the personality of a wet paper bag. What is there to get excited about? The coach surely doesn't do anything to get the public excited. The offense is boring as hell (and sometimes painful) to watch.

Honestly, they should have hired someone who would have at least brought some excitement to the program, someone with a vision. For crying out loud, how hard is it for LSU to put on a Midnight Madness event? It's seriously like they don't give a rats arse.

Maybe none of those things translate into actual wins or losses, but it would bring a few more folks out and cause some more interest.

I personally don't give a shite about personality as long as long as he's not a d-bag. Even then I would barely care.

All the coach has to do is win and all will be fine with me.

turn LSU around as a national basketball school

I know LSU had some good years, but I do not feel they have ever been a 'national basketball school'

just sayin'

Cool, they could have a promotion with you coaching the Purple team against Mrs. Johnson coaching the Gold team.

He'd better do it in 3 years or the basketball experts on here would want him fired.
