Why? I understand on the way to and from the camp or woods or whatever, or if you work in the mud occasionally and like to keep them handy or whatever. But I'm talking people who even still after hunting season is over keep their lacrosse rubber boots sitting there behind their truck. Aren't you worried about people stealing them? Not to mention the sun and elements will make them dry rot pretty quick. Half the time they have a toolbox too, and still keep the boots out in plain sight. Why not put them in?

Man I'm on starting to get on a roll with shitty threads today

There was a truck last fall I would see often around with a pair of pretty clean muck woody elites tucked there between his toolbox and the cab of his truck. Dude has a $160 pair of boots just sitting there in the open, with a lockable toolbox right next to it.

FTR I've done it before in my old truck, but it was always going to or from somewhere where I may need them.

During hunting season mine will stay back there most of the time. Keeps them dry, I'll never forget them, and I don't have to bring them inside and track mud in.

A lot of people that work outside keep theirs there too. Never know when they'll have to walk through mud. If they just kept them in the bed they'd get wet. Keep them in the truck and you get muddy floor boards.

Same reason people put a 6" lift and mud tires on a truck that will never leave pavement. All bout the image.

I keep a cheap pair of jobsite mud boots there at all times. Im not going to stuff muddy boots in my toolbox. Mine have been there for over a year.

My truck is tan. Can I do white shrimpers, or should I stick with laCrosse green?

I understand this, and I've been there and done it. I was leaning more towards the people who have them there mid summer, clean, just sitting there and are obviously not in a work truck. Same guy who has a 6" lift and big arse iroks on a truck that never leaves payment with a calvin peeing sticker on the back window. Maybe some truck nuts.

This thread was prompted the other day when a dude in a lifted truck with rims had what appeared to be a brand new pair of lacrosse knee boots shoved back there.

I've never seen two pairs of rubber boots before... you should do both.

My judgement hinges on this.

Put a nice pair of lacrosse in there. Size 9.5 if possible and tell me where you park.

I saw a dude who had one big pair and 3 small pairs back there. But he had his 3 sons in the truck with him, and they were loaded up to go to the camp. So it made sense.
