The product was not good. Until tj can recruit talent and play them then the fans will stay away. One season every 4 years will not cut it. Dale built a program yearly and had something to look forward to. Tj has not done this.

LSU tanking the end of the season was very disappointing. The NIT blows. I will not watch a tournament of .500 teams. There is nothing else I need to say about that.

It irritates me when fans assume that supporting LSU necessarily requires the predicate of winning first. I'm not here to bitch at people for not going but Hickey is right. The team deserves more support for no other fact than the fact that they represent LSU. That should be enough. Sad it's not, as evidence from some of the dildo's on this board.

She pretty much nailed it. But we have a lot of fair weather fans, as evidence from this thread. Directional fans is what I call them.

I don't see anything wrong with her posting that. If self-proclaimed LSU "fans" want to act as if winning is necessary before supporting the team, I don't see why she should shy away from taking the opposite view.

This. It is disappointing we didn't have fans. I heard the national guys talking about it on ESPN radio and that stings the most. I'm not hear to call others out; I didn't got but I had a grad school class at noon and had to go back to work. If we would have won I'd have gone down today with my 3 y/o just because the logistics work out.
I go to as many games and I can make but I can't go to everything. I wish we would have had a better showing but I like this team a great deal and hope they're not done. Looking forward to next year and hope fans get behind these guys who have been playing their asses off.

Let me just put it like this...I live in BR...i'm a huge Hornets fan. but i'm not traveling to NOLA to see that shitty arse team. i'm not going to leave work early, pay gas money to go to new orleans, pay for parking and concessions and tickets, all to see them lose.
same with this LSU team. i don't care how much they've improved over the past few seasons. the story is still the same. i'm sorry Hickey is butt hurt, but maybe they shouldn't be losing to fricking coastal carolina or whatever BS teams they lost to earlier in the season and then tank 3 of their last 4 or whatever. he has no right to call out LSU supporters.
