Just wanted to let everyone know that the team that took 2/3 from us might be pretty good. Everyone was saying a sucky team took 2/3. Well, they have been playing pretty well.

At least they won't hurt our RPI.

If we do well in the SEC then RPI will not be a problem. I was more so letting people know that the team that beat us is not a scrub.

SEC is stacked. LSU is good this year, unfortunately so is the rest of the SEC.

If last year taught us anything it's that RPI means very little nowadays

You are correct, but other teams have good pitching too that we will face soon. We have to be able to scratch across some runs to win games. That's my concern at this point.

LSU lead all SEC teams in runs scored with 119 going into yesterday's game vs. Michigan. I know we've played some cupcakes, but so has everyone else. I was also amazed to see USCe had only scored 62 runs. Don't get me wrong I'm concerned too being that we only scored 1 run in the 2 loses to AS but the potential is there.

App. State plays South Carolina this Wednesday (March 14th). So we shall see if the Mountaineers are for real.

Doubt either teams' weekend starters will go in that game, USC should definitely have a better weekday starter, ie outcome doesn't carry a lot of meaning as to how ASU's starting trio compares to USC, which is what people want to know.

Also have the 25th best team ERA in the country at 2.40 as of the 7th. (2.66 currently after last nights game.)

They are easily the best team IMO we have played all season and that is including Tulane. Current RPI is at 19. LSU at 65.
