it's amazing to me that the one person in the "media" who might have some actual knowledge of what happened is being called out like this.

Mother fricking This. Its not as if ESPN has NEVER pushed a story without all the facts only to be proven wrong. This happens at least once a week.
Why should we listen to someone who was on the team at the time? Why should we listen to all the former/current players who have said its being blown out of proportion?
