Female TV characters who went from average to hot over the course of a show

First person I thought of is Dana Scully played by Gillian Anderson from the X-Files. Early on in the show, she was sort of frumpy and chubby and average looking. As the seasons progressed, she lost her baby fat and became incredibly attractive and easy on the eyes.

I know she has pretty much looked the same in her 2-3 seasons on The Office, but I like Erin more and more each week.
Guess it's her humor that gets me.
