Their pitchers were amazing. Arohead had so much movement on his off speed pitches.

I'm getting kind of tired of maineri not recruiting good hitters.

Shimpf, Dean, Mahtook, Gibbs, Clark, we need those kind of hitters.

It's baseball brah. They had a nasty pitcher and got a timely HR. plus we decided to use our bats for show instead of swinging

I did not see Appalachian State's pitcher, but anytime we go against a quality hurler, we could struggle. We do not have many quality bats on the squad at this time.

Actually there a pretty solid team. The kid who helps me with my All Star team each year is on their pitching staff and he's pretty damned salty to have come from a small high school in SC.

It would seem to be a pretty shitty loss.

Great day of sports today.

Everyone knew hits and runs would be scarce with this team. A weak hitting team coupled with a less than average game coach could make for a long season.

K, can't read off of this outstanding post - my view of it - LSU should never/ever lose to anyone in baseball, football, basketball, track -- umm I took a little blue pill and I was getting ready to say gymnasty - then DD Breaux came into my mind - bye.

I am not much on baseball but if pitcher is really on one day and your hitters have an off day isn't that a recipe for a loss in baseball. I thought stuff like that happens in baseball from time to time?
