Who do you guys like to have a good year or rebound from last year?

I suspect ole 5 time will have a better year, and I am curious to see what Kasey can do in top notch equipment. Fully expect Dale to backslide from his outstanding start to 2011, and I'm hoping Danica doesn't cause the big one at the 500 [which might not be possible with the new 2 car racing at the big tracks]. Roush will still be tough, and we will see what Tony can do after a successful year as a driver/ owner.

Hadn't seen anything about it.

Interesting to see what the Toyotas will do,now that they are all playing nice together with their engines.

Yea, they are due to rebound. Kyle is just too good, and I'm sure they will have the engine woes cured. The year they had last year had them completely off my radar. Kyle better shape up, or he might get demoted like his big brother. Unbelievable that a 33 year old former champ in every series has been regulated to Phoenix Racing; good for Phoenix, I guess.

1. I hope Jimmie fails miserably.

2. I hope Jr gets his head out of his arse and wins a race this year.

3. Smoke is gonna kick arse again.

4. I'm also interested in how all the guys will do in their new rides, specifically Kahne at HMS, Martin and Bowyer at MWR and Allmendinger at Penske.

5. I also hope Danica doesn't take out half the pack at Daytona.

Pretty much the same thing you posted with a few adjustments.

I don't care either way about Jimmie; I just think he will have a better year.

Forgot about the Dinger. Should be fun with him and Bad Brad at Peneske. Boy, have they changed their image. And, Bowyer is a talented driver; definitely, a good pick up for MWR.

I liked to see the 24 win another championship. He had a good run but went to shite when the Chase started.

They had testing at Daytona a couple of weeks back. I watched about ten minutes of it. They said NASCAR was tweaking the restrictor plates to break up that two car shite. Hopefully it works. Nothing better than watching 40 car packs mixing it up at Dega and Daytona.

I agree. The 2 car stuff sucks in comparison. Well, in the 10 minutes did they look lined up or 2 by 2? They tried changing the plates before the last Dega if I recall, but it didn't do anything.

Didn't they give them more HP to give the drivers more control and prevent the long lines? Seems to me if NASCAR wants to bunch 'em back up, they would slow them down [smaller plate holes].

I forgot about that. He was on fire right before the chase started.

Hopefully Jr will win.

Anxious to see Kahne and the Dinger.

Wonder the first Kurt Busch outburst will be

Dont understand why Rick Ware Racing is moving up to sprint cup. (Timmy Hill won ROTY in NNS by default, he sucks)

They did alot to the restrictor plate cars. The main thing was moving the air intake higher up to be more along the lines of where it is on a production street car. That makes the cars have to seperate to get more air in the engine and cool them off. They also reduced the size or changed the angle, I don't remember which, of the spoiler in the back.

Wasn't the point of all that to prevent the traditional long line racing? I can't remember, but I thought they made changes to keep them from bunching up for safety reasons and to prevent the big one. But, now the 2 car stuff is terrible.

They are making all these changes to try and make all the cars to where they can't bump each other and "hook up" in packs of 2. Now they have to stay seperated or they will take a chance of overheating. The 2x2 racing came about because of the re-surfacing of Talladega and Daytona. The old set-up on the cars just ran faster in 2x2 packs than regular draft racing on the newer surfaces.

Idk I was listening more than watching and I don't think every driver was there. I only recall there being 15 or so cars on the track. The announcers said NASCAR would make more changes after the test session.

Yep.

Hell yeah and could of won a lot more races last year. Dude looked like he was running 14 cylinders at the end of the Brickyard. And I don't recall the track, but there was a late pit. Gordon had the lead. He had pitted and was doing pit road speed when Kesolowski flew by doing 80 thru pit stalls.
