Why are the beer threads getting anchored?

TGIF admins. Why are you guys anchoring the First Beer of the Day/Daily Beer threads so quickly? Not f'ing with you, I assure you. We are just having fun discussing the beers we are "tasting" and the conversation often continues into the next morning. Thanks.

Agreed.
They stay on topic (beer) and prevent multiple beer threads from breaking out when all the conversation could easily be contained in one thread.

No, it was aptly named the FBD thread or First Beer of the Day. some even included day/dates. There is always good beer discussion in them and it does stop numerous unneeded thread.

I think we would all be ok with todays fbd thread getting anchored tomorrow a little before work gets out, then we'll start a new one for tomorrow.

Would like the threads to last until the afternoon please. They get anchored first thing in the morning.
