I hear the service is absolutely abysmal. Any truth to this
Haven't been since '88. It was so cheap ,we could eat there once or twice a semester while we were in school.

Then, service wasn't an issue. I've seen a few complaints on here about service issues now. Maybe the ladies are moving just a bit slower...It's a great hole-in-the-wall Thai joint. Folks should hit it, and if the service is slow, order drinks two at a time. There's always a way to beat the system.

As far as the service being slow... it isnt fine dining. Its all part of the experience.

The little Asian ladies are super friendly and they are working pretty damn hard if you watch them.

There sometimes my water glass got empty for a few minutes.. but i drink a lot of water and never complained. They are pretty attentive. I always tip them over 20% because they serve you three to four courses and the total is only 30-40 bucks (without alcohol). They earn every bit of that $6-$8 range. I usually leave 10 because the food is worth 50.
