Best thing I've ever done. I've had more enjoyment out of my camp than I ever imagined. Cocodrie is a good spot with lots of water to fish. It rarely gets crowded.

We lease land from Conoco Phillips but have a camp built on the land. Insurance is impossible to get, so nothing is nice, but the camp is everything I need and want at this stage in my life. It's nice enough for the ole lady to want to come periodically but not nice enough where she wants to come all the time.

my dad's is in Bay St.Louis and I love it.First off all the neighbors are awesome and two live there so no theft problems. The fishing isn't half as good as LA obviously but from our camp we can be saltwater fishing, freshwater fishing, in the gulf, or skiing/kneeboarding/tubing all within 10 minutes of putting the lift down and droppin the boat in the water.

I plan on getting a camp in either Cocodrie or Grand Isle many many years down the road
