No its not at all. Syracuse and Penn State were traditional Rivals, as were Pitt and PSU. Is Texas-Texas A&M not a traditional rival? There are lots of reasons for schools to take a break. Mostly its either hurt feelings or money, not because playing the game is no big deal. I'd guess Michigan playing 9 B1G games, plus maybe a CCG would rather have Directional Michigan or some other rent a win home game OOC.

I'm sure it is, but when 1 team wins 40 in a row, its not a rivlary, its a homecoming game.
