All of the games except one start at night. Any clue why this change was made? I like a good afternoon baseball game usually....

Saturday night in Death Box?
I like it though, at least on Saturday.

I am pretty sure last year most of the SEC Saturday games were at night.

Honestly I don't get to many games BUT I do seem to remember that something about the heat later in the season being a factor.

probably hoping for larger crowds. Day games take away anything people might want to do on Saturday. Most people from what I understand work Mon-Fri. I'm not one of them, but Saturday is taking care of things around the house day. Just a guess.

This is what we were told. My family and friends like the Saturday afternoon games instead of Saturday night. Last year several of us asked Herb Vincent about the change via email and he said the attendance is better at night.

Some will be moved for tv. Probably only a couple at best.

Suggestion made by the Baseball Committee, to get out of the afternoon heat.

Probably since its not too cold

Then why is the Saturday, February 18th game with Alcorn St. at 6:30? There isn't a whole lot of afternoon heat in February...(although the way the weather has been lately, ya never know)

I like the Saturday night games. good for tailgating and then you can go out right afterward. plus for those really hot games, you can lose the sun. Overall I think all sporting events outside at LSU should be at night just cause the heat.

Mardi Gras parades all day in BR.

I thought it might be so Skip could go to the Saturday games since they will be after sun down.

Bigger crowds. Many families have activities during the day on Saturdays (youth baseball, golf, yard work, etc). More people can make the Saturday evening games.
