We filled a lot of needs and we are bringing in some stud linebackers.

what about the needs at DT and a pass-rushing DE? we did get a QB, but a project. we failed to get a big WR

it wasn't a horrible class, but it wasn't amazing. and ignoring teh team rankings, our poor showing in LA is worrisome. mismanaging miller's situation is worrisome

Yea. We had some big misses in this year's class. Hopefully the projects we've taken pan out.

Team ranking is 6 on scout.

Lsu looks like they will be attacking defensive tackle needs out of state next year in Texas pretty hard.

This was a unique situation because we have stockpiled depth and needs weren't as needed this class. What I mean is that lsu addressed a position of need in linebackers more than any other and could afford to.

Next season, they will have to address defensive tackles. They also need some taller receivers.

The miller situation was unfortunate but shite like that happens. It was a numbers crunch and we were unaware that Kiel was switching.

Numbers will catch up to you. Especially in top programs where you have to force attrition. Just look at Alabama. They have to empty the coffers every year to squeeze their classes in.

Fair enough.

a pass-rushing DE?

Not a massive need, IMO. We still have Rasco in the wings. We still have Maclin.

AND we signed Danielle Hunter, who pretty much everyone unanimously agrees, has as much raw potential as anyone.

QB is a project, but not a desperate need IMO. Not at this point. Now, if we fail next year, that's messing up.

Well, Avery, Dural and Holmes are all listed around 6'2. Those are generally considered "big WRs", but yeah, we didn't get a 6'4-6'6 guy.

There's a tricky line to walk. Criticize them for losing out on Collins and co. Kiel, tough... seems they did all they could. Same with Super Mario.
