If he has good grades and is a good player, he should be able to go somewhere like Rice or Northwestern.

On the spectrum of players getting screwed over in the recruiting process, this kid isn't even on the radar. He still has plenty of opportunities.

Didnt Barry Sanders Jr commit to Stanford as a RB? I may be confused on this.

totally sucks, but it does have an easy fix

do not allow school to offer athletic scholarships until the student clears the school admissions process

He only had a 26 on his ACT, that wouldn't even sniff admission to Stanford for a non-athlete.

That's a lie by Stanford. He gets into Harvard if the coach wants him. Shaw just doesn't have the nads to admit that they wanted someone else.

Didn't get admitted even though he had a 4.0 and a 26? I know a 26 ACT score is mediocre at best, but I was under the impression everyone made exceptions for athletes?
