If we traded the ACC Kentucky for Florida State

Wouldn't this be nice. Then Kentucky would be in a basketball conference, and we would gain a worthy football opponent.

That's actually a great idea. Kentucky's Basketball needs to be in the ACC. FSU's basketball is more of an SEC type basketball team. And vice versa with football.

Both schools have had opportunities to make this happen. They both are apparently happy with their conference.
I think UK likes being the big fish in basketball. Same for FSU in football.

Since when has FSU been the big fish in football?
Also, in baseball terms the FSU baseball program would no doubt make the SEC conference head shoulders above the rest since we added A&M to the mix.

Really? Are you a complete dumbass? Florida State has been in the ACC for 20 years and has won or tied for the conference title 12 times, with 2 national championships. No major conference team has dominated a conference in football the way Florida State has dominated the ACC.
Also, nobody gives a shite about baseball in conference realignment discussions.

No sir you are a a complete arse clown. Its all about what have you done for me lately. FSU has had two respectable seasons over the past decade. Compare Virgina Tech to FSU since Tech joined the ACC. And as for baseball facts or facts regardless of how relevant it is.

Their football program is in decline and doesn't show signs of improvement. Their basketball team is great, but that's all they got. Just like every other school in the ACC.

Absolutely not. I like Kentucky in the SEC. We have been playing "Big Blue" since 1949. Kentucky isn't a "new boy" like A&M, Missouri, Arkansas, and South Carolina. Lexington is always a great trip and they bring us arguably the most storied basketball program in the country. The SEC needs a consistently dominate basketball team. Lucky for us, we've got the best. By the way, the LSU football team holds a 39-16-1 record against Kentucky all time (23-5-1 in Death Valley and 16-11 in Commonwealth Stadium). They obviously give us hell on the road. They deserve to be in the SEC.

Their football team plays in the most difficult conference in the country. Since 2000, they have been to 6 bowls. That is pretty respectable for playing the likes of LSU, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, etc. year in and year out. Florida State couldn't even beat Wake Forest this year.

This has to be one of the dumbest ideas in a month were idiocracy is flowing like water on the Rant.
Lets get rid of the leagues one big shining star in basketball just to get another above average football school.
There are other sports besides football. Some people on here like basketball and baseball. Some of us even enjoy when the good teams come here to play.

And you are entitled to your opinion. This is just a hypothetical idea for the rant to weight in on. Kentucky will never leave the SEC cause they enjoy the large check they get for just being here. Also, FSU would make our conference better in baseball too.
