At this point I'm just going to sit back and see how management deals with FA and the draft to fill teams needs. Letting Nicks go would be a HUGE loss. IMO he is the best gaurd in the league. But keeping Nicks an Colston would not allow the team so shop defensively. The front office has done a great job over the last few years finding talent that fits.

The only real concern I have is the same one I've had for a couple years now: Defense. I think SpagNOLA will be a good fit. If I coming in as the DC, my first move would be to switch to a 3-4 base. With current personnel I see it as the best fit. 2nd move is to bring Harper into the box as a OLB which is basically his natural position. Address the safety/DT positions in FA/Draft. This is only my opinion but I think if you sure up the DLine this would work well. I still believe Jenkins can be a Pro-Bowl player if he is allowed to actually play the safety position. Still have a whole year to see what happens

First, you must qualify your opinion with your credentials. What percentage of your fantasy leagues do you win? That's how NFL GMs gauge it. LINK

No solid credentials. Just a sports management major interning on the college level. BUT I have 8 of the 13 fantasy football leagues I've played in. So my percentage is a little lower than his. I was simply posting my opinion on a message board. Didn't know I needed to bring my resume

Don't you mean Sports Administration?

I was one of the first 4 people to graduate with a Sports Admin degree at LSU /end csb

Blues, if that is the credentials, then never ever listen to anything I say. I don't play FF but when I do, I pick nothing but Saints players and ex-saints players

I haven't lost a game in franchise mode in madden, so yeah...I'm pretty damn qualified.

First things first: we need to find Moorstead's replacement. He isn't getting any younger, and neither is his replacement. We should be scouting for his replacement as well.

Second: we need to institute a stripe on the black pants. This should really be first.

Thirdry: someone needs to ghostwrite a book for GW about his time here. The title "And not a single Frick was given..."

I jest, didn't see your post count so a belated welcome aboard.

-on 3-4: the trend seems to be more mixing of both by teams that have been historically one way or another. Don't see it prominent next year cuz it isn't Spags MO & Vilma left NYJ basically over transition to it.

-Harper: I've advocated him to WLB myself. It sounds a little Maddenesque but with his coverage deficiencies, why not? You would have to find a SS tho.

-Draft: full lessee about FA first mode. Loomis historically gets a FA body into the biggest needs before drafting (even if not studly) to enable strong BPA selections.

If only we could take Harper's neck and convert it to SLB and keep Harper at SS at his new lighter weight so he could perhaps be a little faster.

ya know that might be factor... ya know they characterize some DBs as having a head on a swivel... THAT could be his issue, no swivelocity!
