Will Stern rig the lottery for us?

Seems like he did for the Cavs last year. Will he do the same for us if we are bottom 2-4?

I sure hope so. I would think Stern would hook us up

Andre Drummond and Anthony Davis.

I wouldn't be so certain. New Orleans does seem like a pet project for Stern but he's already taken a PR hit for the team and I'm sure all the back room dealing during the CBA left him indebted to others. Jordan took a bit of a PR bullet for the league during the CBA. You'd have to think he's guaranteed to have one of the balls bounce Charlotte's way.
If the Hornets are in the top 7 or 8 it wouldn't be obvious, but no way will a Minnesota pick over 8 hit.

A number of teams either went to shite or weren't improved due to the impending lockout last year and/or other situations like new ownership.
Detroit is a prime example, as the team self-destructed last year under John Kuester, in part due to a player revolt, but management couldn't do anything about it until a new owner came in and had a plan for what to do.

Of course he will. He's our team owner, President and GM. I just hope no one buys the team beforehand.

If the Cavs got the #1 pick with the Clippers pick, that had a 2.8% chance of being #1...
Hell yes, he rigs it for the Hornets.

He should rig the lottery. It's the only way the CP3 deal would be worth a shite. He has to make himself look better for blocking the first deal with Houston.
