I don't get the Eli Loyalty from New Orleaneans.

I don't get it. Archie loyalty....i get but the boys couldn't get out of state fast enough.
That in combination with the fact that if Eli gets to the SuperBowl again, the media will always put him in front Brees in the QB conversation.
So explain it to me.
BTW
I hate the 49rs but I hope they make it and then Brady wins another one. The media is gonna put Brady first no matter what anyway.

I don't like Peyton or Eli, never have and never will. I just hate the Giants least of the remaining 3 teams.
No, not if that's all he ever does again. Brees has a TON of records now and has another in sight. Not to mention he won a Super Bowl after starting in an impossible situation.

I don't understand why so many in state people expected them to go to LSU by default. Peyton went to a great Tennessee program while LSU had been down for years, and Eli followed in his daddy's footsteps. I can't fault either for their choices.

Well, there is rumor that Peyton wanted to go to LSU but Archie wouldn't have been able to live it down from the Ole Miss boosters. Plus, LSU got a commit from Josh Booty who was rated higher than Manning (
). Peyton couldn't go to Ole Miss either because they were on probation or something IIRC. Eli going to Ole Miss was a given.
