Have you even made an effort to find the actual owner?

I would be pissed if my dog got loose and someone just gave it away.

Could have a microchip so the owner could be traced. would have to take to a vet to have it scanned but might be worth a try.

Yes he has a collar. No names. Posted pictures to find owner. Have had him 3 weeks trying to find owner. Can't keep him too much Longer
Have not thought of microchip. Will run him by vet.

Hey man, I'm interested. I live about 20 min from there.
If not for me, got some buddies with kids that have always had labs in the past.

Make a long story short after we found the owner he said the dog had been missing 4 months. He took a job traveling 3 weeks a month and told us we could keep him. We tried but can't keep him any longer. Both kids play baseball and we are never home.

Anybody still want him.
Black lab 4.5 years old. Trained. House trained. Great with kids. 2254059001.

Be careful who you give him to. He may be used for dog bait fighting up there in your neck of the woods.
