Def worth the time to read. Makes me appreciate Monty and his commitment to the team even more.

Trouble has shadowed Williams for most of his 40 years. He endured poverty and sexual abuse as a child. He faced a life-threatening heart condition at Notre Dame. He pondered suicide at a campus lake. He battled injuries as an NBA player. He mismanaged money as a young husband.
Monty has been through hell. Amazing how he's kept himself together. Thanks for posting.

Great read. Very happy to have him associated with this franchise. Hopefully he'll be around for the long haul.

Great article. I really hope he sticks around.
The only thing that worries me is, if Chouest does become majority owner... Monty wasn't his choice. Chouest and Shinn were in the process of finding coaches together, when suddenly Shinn just decided to leave Chouest out of it, and that's when Monty was chosen.
So I just hope Chouest doesn't immediately try to wipe the slate clean (if he even buys the team), Dell/Monty is a really solid foundation.
