I really don't see how this would affect any defensive player's, o line or running backs decisions.

Really? Remember Keiland Williams?

Now, on the defensive side of the ball, those guys have a hard time winning it all with no offense.

I tried to get an intelligible rundown of the presser and instead got 30+ pages of, basically, kids calling each other stupid...

Honestly, any "rundown" would include basically, "I made mistakes" and then a LOT of blah blah blah.

Dude would make a campaigning politician look forthcoming.

"half these morons"? "cant see how good we have it right now"? Could it be that some people know how fleeting anyone's chances of a national championship are? How seldom they come along? How stupid it is to excuse atrocities this year in lieu of the talent we have (had) for next year? Assuming blindly all the pieces will fall together again? Morons? nah, more like peeps who just saw one helluva an oppo missed

To sum it up, Miles bet on the wrong horse.

No, it's worse then that. He could change his bet after his horse broke a leg, but he didn't. He just kept beating that same ole crippled horse.

Here's a question I don't believe anyone has asked Les and which he may find hard to duck:

When Jefferson returned, Lee had been playing great. Yet you now proceeded to insert Jefferson into the lineup claiming you liked using the two-quarterback system. But after Lee threw the two interceptions against Alabama, all of a sudden you abandoned the two-quarterback system and gave Lee no playing time after that. Yet when Jefferson made mistakes, and they were numerous, you still gave Lee no playing time.
Why?

Imagine the meltdown if he calls an option on the first play from scrimmage in the 2012 opener! It would almost be worth it just to see the reaction LOL

Somebody give me some quick cliffs, please.
I don't feel like reading through 36 pages of mainly jackassery and very little valuable input.

And while doing it screwed with the potential nfl careers of at least 5 players - all for one player!

It would be interesting to know who didn't play their regular rotation on the defense. Could explain part of the reason they were so tired. If you do and find some discrepancies I'll let you know what I heard.

So we should fire Chavis? Is that what you're saying?

You get my vote for rantard of the year.

Did you even watch the clemson game. He said that because WV scored eleventy billion points. Of course that is not what he was saying...damn bro...take a break from the rant.

He also said if he could snap his fingers and go back he would play Lee, knowing what he knows now.
This obviously is not enough for the rabble

This is horsehockey. How much data did he need? One first down per quarter through three quarters wasn't enough? Did he sleep through the UGA game? Even the idiots doing the telecast figured out that JJ had more of the brook trout look than usual.

He was not going to play JL, and while much of the locker room disagreement thing might be hoohah, I believe something did take place. This is a proud , egotistical and hardheaded man. He certainly isn't the only coach that has these attributes, but he appears Les likely to take the counsel of his staff than others.

Miles held a presser. Acknowledged mistakes, but didn't really explain a lot. Took responsibility for the NCG, said we'll pass more next year, recruiting wont suffer, hes got nothing against Lee, blah blah. Blah. Some are satisfied, some not. The debate (and dissatisfaction) continues

The fact you haven't heard a journalist ask this OBVIOUS question pretty much tells you that when it comes to college football coaches, journalists are completely in the bag. They're so desperate for access that they shite their pants when it comes to confronting the coaches.

The one where we scored a shite ton of points. I wish he would have.

The setup from Bama1, Arky, and GA is what got us in this mess. It showed or Les perceived it to show that he could rally around a couple turnovers and win games as long as it stayed close.

And until the fourth, we still could have won with that strategy.

I hate the strategy BTW..but I also hated it win the Saints used it to win the Super Bowl. So I dont know the correct answer.

I love how he absolutely took credit for that. Anywhere he HAD to give an answer he used the royal "we." He only said "I" in regards to a questionable decision once that I can count so far.

This! He clearly knows how to use the word "I", so use it when listing the f-ing mistakes. The way this sounds to me is, now that I know my staff fricked up, I would certainly step in and change this mess if I had to do it over. If there's any mistake that I personally made it was in trusting my staff to make the right decision. Also, to even mention defense in this ramble without calling out the oline, QB, or playcaller (whoever that was) is a fricking travesty.

And before anyone says it, I've been a Louisiana State University fan before CLM ever stepped foot on the campus and will be after he leaves. I truly appreciate what he's done but don't believe that it means he walks on water and can't be subjected to any criticism. I get my fair share when I frick up and I don't pull down $4M!!

1. In fairness, Jefferson's mobility put us in a position to win, so I understand sticking with him. Plus his point is valid - just one score and the game - even at the beginning of the fourth - is totally different. I don't agree with Lee not playing, but I don't think his view is irrational because I don't like it.

There is nothing to substantiate JJ's mobility gave us a better chance to win. With JJ there is virtually no threat of a serious passing attack. In fact,it was easy to game plan for the one dimensional JJ offense. Plus, when we were down late last yer vs UF and Tenn, it was Lee who directed the game winning drives.
No, Miles exercised questionable judgement and mishandled JJ's return and playing time.
He's our coach and his record demonstrates he smarter than he sounds or acts but he is not above criticism and he deserves plenty for that turd he dropped in NOLA.
